Adding to a very long list of its other health benefits, a published study from 2017 found that eating fish regularly was associated with a reduced risk of Alzheimer’s Disease. The study was conducted by a team at the Rush Medical Center in Chicago. The team of specialists analyzed data from 544 brain autopsies. The researchers were looking for signs of Alzheimer’s, and they found that participants who ate seafood at least once per week had lower levels of three different physiological signs of the disease.
It was also noted in the study the supplements, such as fish oil, did not have the same effects and offered very little benefit. So, come to Jazzy;s and either order one of our many fish selections off our menu or pick up fish from our marketplace and take it home and prepare it to your liking.
